Satellite-delivered Internet offers speeds and costs comparable to digital subscriber lines (DSL) and cable modems, but doesn't require the infrastructure build of those services. Installation of a satellite dish and modem is all rural users need, making satellite-delivered Internet ideal for the sparsely populated and geographically inaccessible areas that many NRTC members serve.
